| i was just at Charlotte's 8th grade graduation. it lasted
FOREVER. emma and i left before it was actually over too.
but it was nice to see my char-char. her class has 177 people in
it!!! the graduating class this year only has 119. holy
cow. they did the math superstars awards and there were atleast
80% of the students getting the award, so i figured it would've been
easier just to call out the names of the kids not getting it. but
i guess that wouldn't be very encouraging.
emma told me last night that we were leaving at 8:10 in the morning to
go to this thing and guess what time i woke up. 8:05. but i
got ready in 7 minutes! (i didn't put a "?" after "guess what"
because i recently realized that the phrase is in fact not a question
but a statement...anyways)
well, I'M DONE WITH SCHOOL
it feels really good to say that. i officially don't have to use
my brain again until august. well, technically i still need my
brain to live, but i think you get what i mean.
i'm gonna go watch tv because i basically haven't watched any for the past couple months. peace out.

| so i asked my mom if i could not go to 1st period today and have a parent note. guess what she said? no. big surprise. so i'm sitting here in computer app. but it's not so bad because we are getting to watch pirates of the caribbean.
today is the last day of school for me!!!! and.......i don't have to go to 4th period. yesterday all we did was eat pizza and burn bob marley incense. (of course mrs. morrison wasn't really aware of this)
anyways...the previews are over and so i'm gonna watch the movie! peace out... | | |
| you know what i love?
thunder. it's really loud and creepy and fun, but most
importantly it gets swimmers out of practice. i guess you could
say that i love lightning, rather, but the sound is what gets us
out. there's a radar at the pilot pool and it starts to flash
when there is lightning 20 - 40 miles away. i don't quite see the
point in that. i mean, the chances of lightning actually coming
inside of a building are pretty slim anyways, but from 40 miles
away...it's just crazy.
you know what i don't love?
boring classes. i.e. computer app. when this semester first
started, i thought that an occasional boring class would be nice, but i
was way wrong. it's nice when i need to my physics homework...but
that class is winding down too and there's little to do. but
there's only like 7 days or so left. i think i can handle it.
well i'm out....
stay classy san diego

| lately i have been listening to old dixie chicks cds. i don't
know what the deal is. it's just one of those phases when i go
and listen to random old music. but it's cool, cause the dixie
chicks sing right in my range, so my family gets to hear me belt it
from the computer room. haha.
the rhododendrons in our backyard bloomed! it's really fun to
take pictures of them. my profile pic right now is one i just
took.
for ap theory we have to write music...i thought it would be a burden,
but i just started to write my piece and it's kind of fun. but i
think of the melody and fiddle around on the piano and find something i
like and then realize that i have to write it all down and figure out
what notes it is that i was playing. sorry if that sentence was
completely confusing, but my ap theory buds know what i mean.
well i'm gonna go finish...

| kate graduated from app yesterday! it was really fun. we
went down to boone friday afternoon and then went to kate's graduation
saturday morning. the graduation was early and our dinner
reservation wasn't until 5, so we had a lot of downtime to take
pictures. at the actual ceremony they did some video thing on the
screen called "Transitions 2005" and it was the cheesiest thing i've
ever seen. i actually though better of asu before seeing
it. but oh well. here are some of my favorite pics from the
day...if you want to see more check out my photobucket.
